Dennis Knight has devoted his life to traditional leatherworking. His career began 1971, as an apprentice saddle and harness maker in Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia.
Dennis
has been a full-time leatherworker for 37 years. For 25 years before opening River Ridge Leather in Historic Roscoe Village in 2003, he ran his leatherworking shop in the Ohio Historical Society's
Ohio Village.
Traditional leatherworking is Dennis Knight’s passion and his life’s work. Dennis and his Journeyman craftsmen employ many decades of experience in the art and craft of traditional leatherworking.
Every piece made in this shop and shown on this website is a true labor of love.
